The Raja Saab, the much-awaited Prabhas starrer, has faced multiple delays in the last few months, especially on the post-production end. A few weeks ago, the film’s producer TG Vishwa Prasad confirmed that they are planning to release their film in January next year, instead of December 2025 as planned earlier. Now, it seems there have been some major changes in film’s promotional plan too.

Earlier planning to unveil their film’s trailer with Kantara Chapter 1 theatrical prints, The Raja Saab team will reportedly release the trailer on Sunday, September 28 directly in theatres, probably with the theatrical rights of OG.

The trailer launch speculations were further piqued by a social media post by Nidhhi Agerwal, who penned, “Saw something today.. mind is blown. waiting, excited for you all to watch it,” ending her post with a ghost emoji, as an indirect hint towards The Raja Saab. The makers too, on their official social media page, shared a brief snippet from the teaser, with the caption, “Let’s kick this off!”

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab also stars Malavika Mohanann in her Telugu debut. Sanjay Dutt, who reportedly plays Prabhas’s grandfather, will also feature in a prominent role. The film has music by Thaman S.
