Amidst all the OG wildfire, Pawan Kalyan is not able to fully enjoy the success. The Gabbar Singh actor is currently suffering from high fever and has been experiencing excessive cough and discomfort. The news put many fans of the star in disappointment and panic.
Pawan’s political party, Jana Sena posted an update on social media about the news. “Pawan Kalyan garu is suffering from viral fever. He has been undergoing treatment for the past four days. The severity of the fever has not decreased. He is experiencing discomfort due to excessive coughing,” the statement said.
Pawan is said to have caught fever on the pre-release event night when he stood in rain for a long-time and delivered his speech.
The party handle further added that the Deputy Chief Minister is going to travel to Hyderabad for further tests, “As per the doctors' advice, he will undergo medical tests in Hyderabad. Today, Shri Pawan Kalyan garu will travel from Mangalagiri to Hyderabad.”
Pawan is experiencing a career-high with the positive reception for OG, which hit screens on September 25. The amount of love being poured towards the film by his fans has captured internet’s attention for the last 48 hours.
The gangster thriller casts the actor as Ojas Gambheera, a man emerging from exile to take on Bombay’s rising underworld don Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut. Priyanka Mohan, Prakash Raj, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Shaam and Harish Uthaman form the supporting ensemble.
Set against the chaos of 1980s Bombay, OG is driven by Sujeeth’s stylised approach, with Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa handling cinematography, Thaman S on music, Navin Nooli on editing and AS Prakash on production design.
