The makers of Little Hearts announced that the Extended Cut of the film will begin streaming on ETV Win from October 1. Little Hearts, which was written and directed by Sai Marthand, with Mouli Tanuj Prasanth and Shivani Nagaram in the lead, was released theatrically on September 5.

The film follows the story of Akhil and Khathyayani, two students who struggle academically, and are in love with each other. They have to navigate through their parents' expectations and life, while dealing with their relationship.

The rest of the cast of the film includes Rajeev Kanakala, SS Kanchi, Anitha Chowdary, and Sathya Krishnan.

Sinjith Yerramilli serves as the composer on the film, with lyrics by Kittu Vissa Pragada and Swaroop Goli. The rest of the crew of Little Hearts include Suriya Balaji as the cinematographer, Sreedhar Sompally as the editor, and Divya Pavan as the art director. Aditya Haasan produced the film.

CE's review of the film read, "It’s also amusing how the film plays on the man-child trope by making Akhil a self-aware young boy who states outright that his lover needs to look after him, like a mother does for her child. There are a few scandalising jokes about young women being perceived as ‘aunties,’ but the film always knows it’s laughing at the young boys who are making these scathing quips."
