Earlier this month, we had reported that Karan Johar and Abhishek Bachchan had moved Delhi High Court for the protection of their personality rights. On Thursday, Nagarjuna too shared a similar on his social media pages.

Taking to his X page, Nagarjuna confirmed that Delhi High Court had passed the order of protecting his personality rights. He penned a note that read, “Grateful to the Hon’ble Delhi High Court for protecting my personality rights in today’s digital age. The vital legal strategy and arguments were led by Senior Counsel Mr. Vaibhav Gaggar, and Mr. Pravin Anand alongwith Ms. Vaishali, Mr. Somdev, and Mr. Vibhav.”

Nagarjuna also shared an online link to the order that was passed, providing more details from the hearing.

Justice Tejas Karia was dealing with the plea filed by Nagarjuna where he identified 14 URLs where actor’s personality rights were being violated through the unauthorised use of his image in content uploaded. Meanwhile, advocate Pravin Anand was representing Nagarjuna.

After stating the possibility that it would be difficult to act upon all the injunctions, The Court eventually said that it would pass an order to ensure that Nagarjuna's personality rights are protected.

Other prominent celebrities who have their personality rights protected by Delhi High Court include Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and Vishnu Manchu.
