Mirai, The much-anticipated Teja Sajja film, released in theatres today. On Thursday, the makers also held a special premiere show in Mumbai, ahead of its worldwide release, and early reviews have been pouring in since.

The action-adventurer also stars Manoj Manchu, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran.

An X user with the handle ‘Nikcricmovies 3’ praised the movie overall, taking note of most things including the screenplay, the interval scene and the climax, calling it a ‘goosebumps’ experience.

Meanwhile, Another user ‘ms_sp007’ too praised the interval sequence, and the climax which redeems the movie. However, the user also found Teja Sajja’s performance to be underwhelming, and mentioned that Hanuman remains a better film.

Comparisons with HanuMan are inevitable, considering both films star Teja Sajja and have a strong religious undertone to their fantastical storylines.

A user named Teja Karlapudi appreciated the VFX visuals of the film, as well as the storyline and performances. However, he found the comedy track in the 2nd half unnecessary.

An X user named Arun Kalyan praised the first half of the film, and a few scenes in the post-interval stretch that make the movie worthwhile.

Many users have also been praising the Prabhas cameo that’s reportedly a part of the climax, and is walking away with all the attention. Very few early reviews have taken note of Manoj Manchu, though, who plays the main antagonist in the film.

Mirai is directed by Kartik Gattamaneni, and produced under the banner of People Media Factory. Reportedly, the film has collected more than 4 crores in its advance figures. If the overall public word-of-mouth is positive, the film can easily aim for a successful boxoffice run.
