After winning accolades and rave reviews during its initial release last year, 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu starring Nivetha Thomas and Priyadarshi in lead roles is set for a re-release in theatres on September 5, during the occasion of Teacher's day.

Sharing the news, Rana Daggubati, who presented the film wrote, "Teachers are our first storytellers, life guides and the reason we carry values that last forever. This Teacher’s Day, September 5th, we celebrate them through the film that touched countless hearts. Join us in theaters to honor every teacher who shaped us, and to relive the joy and memory lane of our beloved blockbuster."

Written and directed by debutant Nanda Kishore Emani, 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu told the story of a simple homemaker (Nivetha) and her earnest struggles to help her elder son, who has been struggling at school, to overcome his academic barriers.

The film was released in theatres on September 6 last year and also had Arundev Pothula, Vishwadev Rachakonda and Gautami playing key roles.

Vivek Sagar composed the music, TC Prasanna is the editor and Niketh Bommi handled the cinematography. 35 was screened at the 55th International Film Festival of India in the Indian Panorama section and won best children's film award (Gold) at Telangana Gaddar Film Awards. The film was later also dubbed and released in Tamil as 35 - Chinna Vishayam Illa.
