Sriya Reddy, who made a strong impact with her role in Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, is going to entertain audiences a special character in Pawan Kalyan’s OG. 

Recently, she spoke about her role with IANS posted saying, “My character in OG is very realistic and hard-hitting, even though the film is made on a commercial scale. I was happy to get as close to realism as possible in both my look and performance. The age or physical appearance of a character doesn’t matter to me as long as I get to portray roles that are authentic, meaningful, and exciting. This film is definitely a testament to that,”

She further shared that she prefers playing ‘complex character, not linear or unidimensional ones.’ Directed by Sujeeth, OG features Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a gangster returning from exile to Mumbai for a high-stakes mission. Priyanka Arul Mohan stars opposite him, while Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu cinema debut as the antagonist. The cast also includes Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Shaam, and Harish Uthaman.

Recently the makers of the film unveiled a new character teaser for Emraan Hashmi’s Omi Bhau and it raised the stakes between Kalyan’s Ojas Gambheera and Omi. Backed by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, OG has cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, with production design by AS Prakash. The Pawan Kalyan-starrer is storming screens worldwide on September 25.
