Allu Arjun praises Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1, calls it 'mind-blowing'

The actor expressed his appreciation for Rishab for the latter's "one-man show" as the film's screenwriter, lead actor, and director

Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1 continues to topple records and earn high praise from some of the big names in Indian cinema. The latest to laud the film, a prequel to Rishab's own 2022 film Kantara, is Pushpa star Allu Arjun. The actor took to social media and said that he watched the film last night, and that it left him in a state of trance during the screening. "Wow, what a mind-blowing film," Allu Arjun wrote about the Kantara prequel.

The actor expressed his appreciation for Rishab for the latter's "one-man show" as the film's screenwriter, lead actor, and director. "He excelled in every craft," Allu Arjun wrote about Rishab. He also described the performances by Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah as "aesthetic performances".

The Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo actor also commended the film's "brilliant" technical team, including composer B Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematographer Aravind S Kashyap, art director Dharani Gangeputra, and stunt choreographer Arjun Raj.

Allu Arjun's Kantara movie review ended with a note of congratulations to the film's producer Vijay Kiragandur and the whole team of Hombale Films. "Honestly, words fall short to describe the experience. Lots of love, admiration, and respect," Allun Arjun wrote at the end of his appreciation post.
