The makers of Premistunnaa unveiled a brief teaser of their film on Saturday. Directed by Bhanu, Premistunnaa is set to arrive in theatres on November 7.
The newly-released teaser, titled ‘Soul of Premistunnaa,’ sets the tone for an intense love story, brimming with grief and heartbreak — it establishes a young man as the protagonist, desperate to meet his beloved once, struggling to return to her. However, his friends curb him down, following by a shocking visual where his mother chains him down in a room, clearly unable to see her son in this state. The glimpse ends with the visual of the female protagonist, dressed as a bride, looking glum yet resigned to her fate.
Sathvik Varma plays the male protagonist, and Preethi Neha is the female lead. While Preeti Neha makes her debut with this film, Sathvik has played small roles in films like F3: Fun & Frustration and Thalli Manasu.
Premistunnaa is produced by Kanaka Durga Rao Pappula under IBM Production, while Varalaxmi Pappula is the presenter. The title and primary cast of the film was officially announced in May this year.
Siddhartha Salur has composed music for the film. The second single of the film, titled ‘Evare Nuvvu,’ was unveiled earlier in August. Anil Kumar Acchugatla has penned the dialogues. In the technical team, Bhaskar Samala and Sirish Prasad helm cinematography and editing respectively.
Upon it’s release, Premistunnaa will have a tough battle at the box office, clashing against bigger star vehicles like Sudheer Babu’s Jatadhara and Rashmika Mandanna’s The Girlfriend.
Bhanu’s previous directorials include Raajadhani Files, Ardhnaari and Varun Sandesh starrer Saradaga Ammayitho.
