Santhana Prapthirasthu, the Chandini Chowdary-Vikranth Reddy starrer comedy drama which has long been in the post-production stage, finally got a release date on Saturday. The film will arrive in theatres on November 14, the makers announced on Saturday.

The team also released a new poster on the occasion, where features Vennela Kishore at the center, promising to be the saviour in the sticky situation the couple finds themselves in.  By the looks of its trailer, that was launched last year, the film revolves around a newly married couple (played by Chandini and Vikranth) who are struggling to conceive after the husband discovers that he has low sperm count. The film largelu revolves around how the husband takes it as a personal challenge to turn things around, and pave path for a happier life with his wife.

Directed by Sanjeev Reddy, Santhana Prapthirasthu features many notable actors in the ensemble cast like Jeevan Kumar, Abhinava Gomatam, Muralidhar Goud, Sri Lakshmi, Harsha Vardhan, Bindu Chandramouli, Satya Krishna, Thagubothu Ramesh, Kireeti, Anil Geela, and Saddam and Tharun Bhascker. Sanjeev has co-written the story and screenplay with Sheikh Dawood G. Kalyan Raghav has penned the dialogues.

In the technical team, the film has cinematography by Mahi Reddy Pandugula, editing by Sai Krishna Ganala, and production design by Shiva Kumar Macha. Sunil Kashyap has composed music. The second single, sung by Vennela Kishore, was unveiled a few days ago.

As of now, barring the Kannada-Telugu bilingual Gatha Vaibhava, there are no other major Telugu film released planned for November 14 as well as November 21. So, with a strong word-of-mouth, Santhana Prapthirasthu has a fair chance at the box office.

Chandini Chowdary was last seen in a cameo appearance in Balakrishna starrer Daaku Maharaaj.
