On Thursday, Suresh Productions announced the premiere date for its upcoming OTT series production AnandaLahari. The romantic comedy that has AHA as its streaming partner will begin streaming on October 17, on the occasion of Diwali.

The production banner shared the update on their X page, by unveiling a title poster featuring the two leads Bramarambika and Abhishek Boddepalli. The caption read, “ Here is our East Godavari boy Anand. There is our West Godavari girl Lahari..  Their romance .... Let's enjoy it, starting from October 17.”

AnandaLahari, borrowing its title from the names of the two protagonists, promises to be a cutesy small town love story. The quirky poster, where the two leads can be seen wearing period costumes in a contemporary setting, adds intrigue about the series’ central themes that would be explored. On Wednesday, the team had released an equally quirky concept poster, billing their series as a ‘pan-Godavari web series,’ promising an ‘epic face-off between two Godavari families’

AnandaLahiai is written and directed by debutant filmmaker Sai Vanapalli who has previously made a few short films. Praveen Dharmapuri serves as the producer. More details about the primary cast and crew are yet to be officially announced.

Abhishek Boddepalli made his film debut last year with the indie prison drama Aarambham. Bramarambika has worked in films like 1980 Lo Radhekrishna, Seetharam Sitralu, and Mukhachitram

Aha’s upcoming original works include the Raj Tarun starrer Chiranjeeva, which will begin streaming on November 7.
