The makers of Sri Chidambaram had unveiled their title glimpse nearly two months ago. Since the past few days, the team has been releasing character posters as a gradual build-up to the teaser release scheduled for October 8. The latest in the series of poster launches is that of the film’s female lead Sandhya Vashishta.

Sandhya Vashishta, who will be seen playing Leela in Sri Chidambaram, makes her debut with this film. The new poster features a slightly befuddled looked Leela through the point of view of someone wearing shades, which gives it a suitably quirky touch. Starring Vamsi Tummala in the lead, the film has been billed as a ‘journey filled with love, laughs, and life.’ Vamsi made his debut last year with the film Saagu.

Earlier this month, the teaser had release character posters for Gopinath and Kalppa Latha Garllapati, who play Suresh and Baby respectively.

Sri Chidambaram is directed and written by Vinay Ratnam. Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy and Chinta Vineesh Reddy serve as producers, bankrolling the project under Srichakraas Entertainments. Meanwhile, Chinta Varalaxmi is the presenter.  Akshay Ram Podishetti is the cinematographer, and Anwar Ali is the editor. Music direction is by Chandu and Ravi.

A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
