Sathyaraj’s mythological crime thriller Tribanadhari Barbarik is all set to make its digital debut this festive season. The film, which originally hit theatres on August 29, will begin streaming on SunNXT from October 10, in both Telugu and Tamil languages.

Directed by Mohan Srivatsa and produced by Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala under the Vanara Celluloid banner, Tribanadhari Barbarik was presented by filmmaker Maruthi, of The Raja Saab fame.

At its core, Tribanadhari Barbarik explores the concept of divine justice intersecting with human crime, centring around Sathyaraj’s enigmatic lead character. He’s joined by an ensemble cast including Vasishta N Simha, Satyam Rajesh, Udaya Bhanu, Kranti Kiran, and Sanchi Rai. The film’s visual world, shaped by cinematographer Kushendar Rameshand editor Marthand K. Venkatesh, was praised for its moody, textured look that bridged the mythical with the contemporary.

Music is by Infusion Band, whose experimental score added an otherworldly touch to the thriller’s tense narrative. The CE review of Tribanadhari Barbarik reads, “Despite Sathyaraj’s presence and some intriguing ideas, the film never finds the intelligence or restraint needed to truly grip.”
