The makers of Akhanda 2 finally unveiled the first glimpse of Samyuktha, with their new song video, titled ‘Jajikaya.’ Thaman S is the music director for the much-anticipated Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu collaboration that will arrive in theatres on December 5.

Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Brijesh Shandilya, ‘Jajikiya’ is a conventional massy Balakrishna dance number, composed with the vigour and abandon the actor is associated with. National award winner lyricist Kasarla Shyam has penned lyrics for the energetic number, and the music video is equally brash and vibrant in its mood. Bhanu has choreographed the dance moves. 

The new massy single arrives just four days after the release of ‘Thaandavam song’ which belongs to a completely different genre and mood altogether. 

Written and directed by Boyapati Srinu, Akhanda 2 marks the director’s fourth collaboration with Balakrishna. Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta are producing the film under 14 Reels Plus banner. The cinematography is jointly helmed by C Ramprasad and Santossh D Detakae. AS Prakash is the art director, and Tammiraju is the editor. The film also features Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame Harshaali Malhotra in her first major role as a grown-up. 

Akhanda 2 will have an indirect clash at the box office against Sharwanand starrer Biker which arrives on December 6. The makers are also planning a wide-scale Hindi release for their film, as a part of which they had unveiled their previous song at a grand ceremony in Mumbai. During a recent press meet, the producers also announced that Akhanda 2 will have a 3D release as well.

Balakrishna, who was previously seen in Daaku Maharaaj, has another major project in the pipeline with NBK111. Earlier today, the NBK111 team announced that Nayanthara will be playing the female lead opposite Balakrishna.
