The audio rights of the upcoming bilingual action-drama Dacoit, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, have been acquired by Sony Music India for 8 crores. The deal includes rights for both Telugu and Hindi versions, making it one of the most notable audio rights acquisitions in Sesh’s career so far.

Dacoit, directed by debutant Shaneil Deo, is being produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Suniel Narang co-producing and Annapurna Studios presenting the project. Music for the film is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, whose recent popularity has helped drive anticipation for the soundtrack.

The film is being simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi and is planned for a pan-India release in five languages. Dacoit also features Anurag Kashyap in a key role as a police officer. The makers have announced that the “Dacoit Fire Glimpse” will be released on May 26. Further updates on the film’s release schedule and soundtrack launch are expected in the coming weeks.
