Actor Silambarasan, popularly known as Simbu, has spoken about his involvement in the upcoming Telugu film OG, where he lent his voice for a song. Speaking during the Telugu promotions of Thug Life, Simbu shared, “OG song is coming soon. Thaman has done a fantastic job. I am really looking forward to the song. It’s always a dream to sing for Mr. Pawan Kalyan gaaru. Thank you so much.” The soundtrack is composed by SS Thaman, who raised buzz for the film with his background score in the teaser.

Meanwhile, the shoot for OG has resumed in Mumbai, where important face-off scenes between Pawan Kalyan and antagonist Emraan Hashmi are currently being filmed. This schedule is expected to complete the majority of the production work.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya under DVV Entertainment, OG is a gangster action drama and also stars Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Harish Uthaman, and Ajay Ghosh in supporting roles. The film is said to revolve around Pawan Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for an important mission. 

Reports suggest that the team is aiming to release the film in theatres on September 26. Further updates on the film’s music and trailer are expected in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan, is coming to screens on June 5.
