Sarangapani Jathakam, the Priyadarshi starrer comic thriller which released theatrically on April 25, is now available for streaming. The film can be streamed on Prime Video, where it began streaming on Friday midnight.

Written and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, Sarangapani Jathakam told the story of a middle-class man Saranga (Priyadarshi) whose excessive belief in astrology leads him down a crazy path of crimes, misdeeds and misadventures. The film also featured Roopa Kodavayur as the female lead and Vennela Kishore in a major role.

In our review for the film, we noted, “The writer-director knows how to keep the momentum going, despite a confined backdrop. Fortunately, he has a great coterie of actors at his disposal, all of whom bring their best foot forward, taking the witty writing to another level of hilarity.” Sarangapani Jathakam also featured VK Naresh, Harsha Chemudu, Tanikella Bharani, and Srinivasa Avasarala in the ensemble cast. 

The film was produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies, marking the third collaboration between Indraganti and the producer after Gentleman (2016) and Sammohanam (2018). The technical crew of the film included Vivek Sagar (composer), PG Vinda (cinematographer), and Marthand K Venkatesh (editor). 

The film is available for streaming in Kannada, Malayalam, and Tamil as well.
