The trailer of Jio Hotstar’s original, Devika & Danny, a Telugu web series, was unveiled on Tuesday.

The trailer begins with the build-up to a wedding between Devika (Ritu Varma) and her fiancé (played by Subbaraju). Just before the ceremony, a priest issues a cryptic warning that someone new might enter her life. The arrival of Danny (Surya Vashistta), a supernatural character, marks the turning point, drawing Devika into an unpredictable series of events. The trailer hints at a blend of romantic entanglement, suspense, and hidden dangers, building intrigue around the central mystery.

Devika & Danny, directed by B. Kishore of Sreekaram fame, is set to stream on Jio Hotstar from June 6. It is produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under the Joy Films banner and created by writer Deepak Raj. Devika & Danny is touted to blend elements of comedy, horror, and fantasy in a contemporary narrative.

Alongside Ritu Varma, the series features an ensemble cast including Shiva Kandukuri, Mounika Reddy, Soniya Singh, Harsha Chemudu, Kovai Sarala, and Gokaraju Ramana. Music is composed by Jay Krish.
