Ram Pothineni's RAPO22 title to be unveiled on this date

The film is set to feature Ram as a devoted fan of Upendra’s character

The makers of Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film, tentatively titled RAPO22, have announced that a title glimpse will be unveiled on the actor’s birthday, May 15, at 10.08 am. The announcement came alongside a poster featuring a boy gazing at a cut-out of a hero, accompanied by the tagline, “Biopic of a fan.”

Directed by Mahesh Babu P, RAPO22 stars Ram as Sagar, a middle-class man who is a devoted fan of a celebrity figure named Surya Kumar, played by Upendra. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, Mahalaxmi. The film is billed as a feel-good love story. The film also features Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, and VTV Ganesh in supporting roles.

Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, RAPO22 marks their first collaboration with Ram Pothineni. The film’s music is composed by the duo Vivek–Mervin, with cinematography by Siddharth Nuni, editing by Sreekar Prasad, and production design by Avinash Kolla.
