On Monday, Netflix announced the streaming date for Siddu Jonnalagadda starrer Jack. The action caper, directed by Bhaskar, will begin streaming on the platform on May 8.

Also starring Prakash Raj and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, Jack told the story of Pablo (Siddu), a playful aspiring spy who, while waiting to be selected into RAW agency, launches his own investigation about a possible terrorist attack and ends up in loggerheads with other senior RAW officials headed by Manoj (Prakash Raj).

Produced under the SVCC banner, Jack did not fare well at the box office. In our review for the film, we noted, “Siddhu has created an utterly likeable avatar and is now consciously embracing that vibe as part of his starry persona. Jack, while it makes for a good showcase for a place on Siddhu’s mantelpiece, is not nearly a competent film to hold on its own.”

Besides Telugu, Jack will also be available for streaming in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada.

Siddu’s upcoming films include Telusu Kada, where he will be seen sharing screen with Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna.
