Pradeep Machiraju-starrer Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi is set to premiere on ETVWin on May 8. The makers made the announcement on Monday. The comedy drama, also starring Deepika Pilli, released theatrically on April 11 to mixed reception. 

The film is about a civil engineer who visits a peculiar village to construct washrooms. There he falls for Raja, the only girl in the village with all the men vying to marry her. And that invites trouble. 

The duo of Nitin-Bharath wrote the screenplay and directed Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. The title is borrowed from the 1996 iconic film starring Pawan Kalyan. The film has MN Balreddy as the cinematographer, Kodati Pavan Kalyan as the editor and Asishteja Pulala as the production designer. Radhan scored music for the entertainer. 

Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi is bankrolled by Monks and Monkeys. The comedy also stars Vennela Kishore, Satya, Getup Srinu, Muralidhar Goud. GM Sundar, John Vijay, Rohini, Jhansi among others. Sandeep Bolla is also credited as the story and dialogue writer. 

The CE review for the film reads, “This Pradeep Machiraju starrer is a hollow echo of better comedies, too mild to be madcap, too convenient to be charming.”
