Nithiin’s next film Thammudu is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide on July 4. Written and directed by Sriram Venu and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film marks a collaboration between Nithiin and the production house after earlier projects like Dil and Srinivasa Kalyanam.

The announcement of Thammudu was made on the occasion of Sriram Venu’s birthday through a promotional video featuring actors from the film. In the video, cast members including Swasika Vijayan, Varsha Bollamma, Laya, and child artist Baby Sriram Deetya approach the director under the pretext of birthday wishes but instead quiz him about the film’s release and promotional plans.

Veteran actress Laya, making a return to Telugu cinema, plays Nithiin’s sister. The cast also includes Sapthami Gowda of Kantara fame. Cinematography is by KV Guhan, editing by Prawin Pudi, and music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath. Thammudu is billed as an emotional action drama.
