The first look of the upcoming Telugu film Bakasura Restaurant has been released on Friday, clearing recent speculation surrounding the title. Reports had circulated suggesting actor-comedian Praveen was launching a restaurant named Bhakasaura, prompting confusion among fans. It has now been confirmed that Bakasura Restaurant is a film title, with Praveen playing the lead role.

The poster features Praveen in a humorous cooking setup, wielding a large ladle, accompanied by characters in eccentric poses. Actors Viva Harsha and Shining Phani are seen in prominent roles, hinting at the film’s comedic tone.

Directed by debutant SJ Shiva, Bakasura Restaurant also stars Krishna Bhagavan, Garuda Ram, Srikant Iyengar, and others. Produced by Lakshmaiah Achari and Janardhan Achari under the SJ Movies banner, the film has completed shooting and is set for release.

Speaking about Bakasura Restaurant, director SJ Shiva billed it as a “hunger comedy entertainer” with elements aimed at engaging a wide audience.The technical crew includes cinematography by Bala Saraswati, editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh, and music by Vikas Badisa.
