Kamakshi Bhaskarla is known for her performances in Maa Oori Polimera (2021), Maa Oori Polimera 2 (2023), web series Shaitan (2023). She spoke about getting unique recognition as an actor in the horror-thriller genre. She said in a recent interview, “I think staying true to the character in Polimera allowed me to explore new dimensions as an actor. I have played roles which pushed me out of my comfort zone. I just follow the script and the director’s vision. I wanted to credit filmmakers who write characters for me, that’s a great validation that I have been evolving as an actor.”

Kamakshi, who is a doctor turned actor, is also juggling multiple films at once. She wrapped Naveen Chandra’s untitled romantic film. She has Allari Naresh’s 12A Railway Colony coming up which is again a horror-thriller. She is yet to start the third part of the acclaimed Polimera franchise, through which she rose up to recognition. “The best part is that in all the three films I play different roles, so versatility is the key to my filmography,” she further added. “Although it’s tough shooting for multiple films, the love for the work pushes me through. After all, who doesn’t love spending time on the film sets.”

Kamakshi Bhaskarla was recently seen in a key role in Vishwak Sen’s Laila.
