The makers of Odela 2 announced the release date for their film on Saturday. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, Odela 2 is now scheduled for a theatrical release on April 17.

The first teaser of the film was released earlier in February, at a grand ceremony held at Kashi Mahakumbh Mela. Directed by Ashok Teja, Odela 2 stars Tamannaah Bhatia as a spiritual sadhvi, who comes to the rescue of a town plagued with demonic forces. Meanwhile, Vasishta N Simha plays the antagonist. 

The film, that also features Murali Sharma and Hebah Patel among others in the supporting cast, is written by Sampath Nandi, who is also credited with ‘direction supervision.’ Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer for the film. The film is produced by under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. Soundararajan S is helming the cinematography, while art direction is by Rajeev Nair.

Tamannaah’s last Telugu release was the 2023 film Bholaa Shankar, where the Baahubali actor shared screen with Chiranjeevi and Keerthy Suresh.
