LYF - Love Your Father to release on April 4

The upcoming family drama features SP Charan in a prominent role

The makers of LYF—Love Your Father announced the release date for their film on Monday. The film, directed by Pavan Ketharaju, is set to hit theatres in April 4. 

The official teaser of the film was released in January this year. Set against the backdrop of Kashi, LYF promises to tell a heartfelt father-son story, revolving around a father’s desire to fulfil his responsibilities towards his son, and the son’s struggles to support his father. While Sriharsha plays the son’s role, renowned singer SP Charan will be seen essaying the father. 

Produced by Kishore Rathi, Mahesh Rathi, and Ramaswamy Reddy under the banners of Manisha Arts and Annapareddy Studios, LYF also features Kashika Kapoorm, Nawab Shah, Praveen, Bhadram, Raghubabu, Shakalaka Shankar, Anjan Srivastav, and Riya in significant roles in the ensemble cast. Mani Sharma is the music director for the film. The cinematography is by Manindra Kumar, while Amar Reddy Kudumula is the editor.

The makers of LYF are reportedly planning to hold a pre-release event on March 27. As of now, LYF remains the solo Telugu release that week.
