Pushpa 3: The Rampage to release in 2028, confirms producer Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili

The noted producer revealed that the third instalment in the Pushpa franchise will begin production in 2026 after director Sukumar’s current commitments

Producer Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers has confirmed that Pushpa 3: The Rampage is slated for release in 2028. The announcement was made during the promotional event for the makers’ upcoming film Robinhood, where Yalamanchili outlined the production timeline for the film.

Director Sukumar, who helmed the previous two parts, is currently on a break and will next direct a project featuring Ram Charan with the same production house. Production for Pushpa 3 is expected to commence in 2026, with filming scheduled for 2027. Sukumar will reunite with actor Allu Arjun for the third instalment after completing their respective projects.

The producer also confirmed the reports that Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with director Atlee for his next. Meanwhile, Arjun also has another fantasy film, reportedly titled God of War, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, in the scripting stage. The film is said to explore themes based on the relationship between Lord Kartikeya and Lord Shiva.

The Pushpa franchise has been a major success, with Pushpa 2: The Rule grossing Rs 1740 crore worldwide, becoming one of India’s highest-grossing films. The sequel features actors Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, and others, with music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek.
