The makers of Champion unveiled the first glimpse of Roshan on the occasion of his birthday on Thursday. The teaser shows Roshan, sporting long hair and stubble, as a passionate football player in the British era. He is seen in two make-overs and has a classic appeal. The glimpse briefly teases Roshan’s skills as he performs a stunt. The ambitious sports drama is directed by Pradeep Advaitham who is one of the writers for Save The Tigers. 

Champion is produced by Priyanka Dutt, GK Mohan, and Gemini Kiran under the banners of Swapna Cinemas in association with Anandi Art Creations and Concept Films. The sports drama is being presented by Zee Studios. The film's noted technical team, including cinematography by R Madhie, production design by Thota Tharani and music by Mickey J Meyer.

Roshan is the son of actor Srikanth Meka. He made his debut with Pelli SandaD (2021) which also stars Sree Leela. The film received mixed to negative reception. The film is yet to receive a release date.
