The teaser for the upcoming web series Hometown has been released, offering a look into the life of Srikanth, an aspiring filmmaker reflecting on his childhood experiences. 

Set in the early 2000s, the series captures his memories with school friends Shastry and Jaggu, as they navigate early experiences of first love, exams, cricket, and discovering social media platforms like Facebook. The teaser shows fun moments of the characters’ everyday challenges and friendships. Rajeev Kanakala plays Srikanth’s father, a strict but caring figure and Jhansi plays the mother. The primary cast also includes Prajwal Yadma, Sairam, Anirudh, Jhansi, and Jyothi.

Hometown is produced by Naveen Medaram and Rajashekhar Medaram. The production team features cinematographer Devdeep Gandhi Kundu, music director Suresh Bobbili, and costume designer Sreedevi Tetali.

Hometown is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform Aha from April 4.
