The Harsh Roshan-Karthikeya Dev starrer Tuk Tuk is slated for a theatrical release on March 21. On Saturday, the makers of the film released their first single, titled ‘Ru Ru.’

Composed by Santhu Omkar, ‘Ru Ru’ is a slow and melodic romantic composition, with a modern sound. Santhu himself has served as the male vocalist for his composition, accompanied by Pavithra Narkinabilli. What makes the song video stand apart is that the makers call it the first AI-generated film song video in India. The music video, visualised in a dreamy style, features the AI generated versions of film’s lead cast.

Supreeth C Krishna, who is the director for Tuk Tuk, has penned the lyrics for the song. Speaking about this technological milestone, the director stated, "It is a proud moment to incorporate AI technology in our film’s music visuals. Audiences will undoubtedly enjoy this innovation in theaters.” Supreeth is also co-producing the film along with Rahul Reddy, Lokku Sri Varun, and Sriramulu Reddy under the banners of Chitravahini and RYG Cinemas.

The first teaser of the film was unveiled a few days ago — Tuk Tuk promises to be a whimsical entertainer, revolving around the antics of three young boys in a small town whose lives are changed because of a magical autorickshaw. The primary cast of the film includes Saanvi Meghana, Steven Madhu and Nihal Kodathy. The cinematography and editing are by Karthik Sai Kumar and Ashwath Shivakumar, respectively.
