The makers of the Avika Gor and Nandu Vijay Krishna starrer Ugly Story unveiled the film’s first single on Monday. The film which has long been stuck in production finally gets a new update. ‘Veera Prema’ is an alluring trip into the twisted mind of an obsessed lover, played by Nandu. The song has a charming rock base and the high-energetic vocals by Revanth add the needed pull. The lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla also add a fascinating contrast to the visuals of a psychopath’s love story. Shravan Bharadwaj composed music for the thriller. 

Avika Gor and Nandu Vijay Krishna, previously worked together in web shows like Vadhuvu and Mansion 24. Ugly Story is written and directed by Pranava Swaroop. The first glimpse of the film was launched in December 2023. Ugly Story is billed as a psychological character-driven thriller. The film also stars Pragya Nayan. 

On the technical front, Shrie Saikumaar Daara cranked the camera while editing was co-helmed by Soma Mithun and Srikanth Patnaik R Konda Lakshman and JS Subhashini are bankrolling Ugly Story under the banner of Riya Jiya Productions. The makers are yet to announce a release date for their film.
