We had recently reported that the makers of the Sapthagiri-starrer Pelli Kaani Prasad set March 21 as the release date for their film. On Monday, the team released the first teaser of their film.

In Pelli Kaani Prasad, Sapthagiri plays a middle-aged bachelor who struggles to find a suitable alliance for himself, owing to his conservative father who is stubborn about wanting a dowry from the prospective bride and upholding their family tradition of always receiving a heavy dowry. Muralidhar Goud plays the protagonist’s father in the film, and the ensemble cast includes actors like Laxman Meesala, Priyanka Sharma, Annapurnama, Vadlamani Srinivas, Pramodini, Basha, Rohini, and Ramprasad.

Abhilash Reddy Gopidi has co-written and directed the film, while Akhil Varma has been credited as the dialogue writer and co-story writer. In the technical team, Sujata Siddharth helms the cinematography, and editing is by Madhu. Sekhar Chandra has composed music for the film. 

The film is jointly produced by KY Babu, Bhanu Prakash Gou, Sukka Venkateshwar Goud, and Vybhav Reddy Mutyala. Sri Venkateswara Creations will produce the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
