The makers of 8 Vasantalu released their new single, ‘Andhamaa Andhamaa,’ on Monday.  Hesham Abdul Wahab, who composed music for musical dramas like Manamey and Hi Nanna in the recent past, is the music director for the upcoming coming-of-age drama.

Hesham is also the male playback singer for his composition, along with Aavani Malhar. Penned by Vanamaali, ‘Andhamaa Andhamaa’ is a groovy yet gentle romantic number, high on emotions and laced with a classical style of singing. The song video is picturised at picturesque locales of Kashmir.

Written and directed by Phanindra Narsetti, 8 Vasantalu stars Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead role, promising to tell the story of a young woman who rises up in life against many personal and societal setbacks. Pushpa 2 producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are producing the film under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film has cinematography by Vishwanath Reddy and editing by Shashank Mali. 

The makers of 8 Vasantalu are yet to set a release date for their film. Phanindra is known for making indie, experimental films like Manu and Madhuram.
