Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his blockbuster film Animal (2023), recently spoke about his upcoming project, Spirit, on the Gamechangers podcast. Starring Prabhas in the lead, Spirit has generated massive anticipation. When asked if the film could surpass Baahubali 2 and reach Rs 2000 crore at the box office, Vanga acknowledged the challenge. “It’s a pressure that I’ve to make 2000 crore and beat Baahubali 2,” he said. “But, I will definitely make an engaging and intriguing film. We have to see what happens next. There is no pressure on me to beat the numbers of Baahubali 2.”

Reports suggest that Vanga has asked Prabhas to dedicate an uninterrupted schedule for Spirit, ensuring smooth production. He has also reportedly requested the actor to refrain from taking on other projects during filming, as the role demands complete focus. The director is also working on a new physical transformation for Prabhas, who will play a cop with a distinct look.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is currently finishing The Raja Saab and will next work on Fauji, Salaar 2, and Kalki 2898 AD sequels.
