After a couple of delays, Anushka Shetty starrer Ghaati is finally set for a theatrical release on July 11. On Saturday, the makers unveiled the first single from their film, titled ‘Sailore.’

Krish Jagarlamudi, who is directing Ghaati, has also penned lyrics for ‘Sailore.’ Composed by Vidyasagar Nagavelli, ‘Sailore’ is an energetic celebration song, brimming with a rustic flavour. The song also takes a surprising turn as it moves along, where the arrangement style becomes more groovy and contemporary while keeping the rustic element alive. Vidyasagar is also the playback singer, alongwith Lipsika Bhashyam. The song is further enriched by its energetic chorus section. Raju Sundaram has choreographed the song video.

Ghaati, produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi, also stars Vikram Prabhu. The film’s crew has some prominent names like Thota Tharani and Sai Madhav Burra as production designer and dialogue writer, respectively. Editing is co-helmed by Venkata Swamy Nakka and Chanakya Reddy Toorupu.

Manojh Reddy Katasani is the cinematographer. Ram Krishan has designed the action sequences. The story has been penned by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao. 

Anushka Shetty’s last Telugu film, Mrs Shetty Mr Polishetty, released in September 2023.
