The makers of Peddi, starring Ram Charan, unveiled the first look of Divyenndu Sharma on the occasion of his birthday on Thursday. Known for his iconic role in Mirzapur, Divyenndu earlier joined the cast of the multilingual sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana in a key role.

In the first look poster released by Peddi team, Divyenndu is seen spinning a cricket ball, wearing a serious expression. His character, named Ram Bujji, is touted to be a pivotal figure in the narrative. Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “Team Peddi wishes its 'RamBujji' aka the supremely talented @divyenndu a very Happy Birthday. ‘RamBujji’ will be one of the most interesting characters from the raw & rustic world of Peddi.”

Peddi is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026. Set in a rural backdrop, the film is a sports drama with cricket as a central theme. Ram Charan plays the lead in a rugged avatar, with Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu also featuring in significant roles.

Peddi is being produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. National Award-winner Buchi Babu Sana directs the film, while AR Rahman composes music. R Rathnavelu is the cinematographer, Navin Nooli is the editor, and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. The first glimpse of the film, released earlier this year, showed Ram Charan entering a cricket ground, signalling a high-energy sports narrative set in a rustic setting.
