The makers of Telusu Kada, the upcoming romantic drama starring Siddu Jonnalagadda, have officially announced the film’s release date on Monday. The film is set to hit theatres on October 17, coinciding with the Diwali long-weekend, offering a potential four-day opening window for audiences.

Directed by debutant Neeraja Kona, Telusu Kada features Siddu alongside Raashi Khanna and Srinidhi Shetty. The release date was revealed with a poster showcasing Siddu in a sherwani, standing against a vibrant green backdrop, hinting at the film’s light-hearted and romantic tone. The announcement was accompanied by a short video that showed a playful exchange between the lead trio, reinforcing the film’s central conflict which is about a protagonist caught in a love triangle between two women.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Telusu Kada marks Neeraja Kona’s transition from costume designer to filmmaker. The film also features Viva Harsha in a supporting role.

On the technical front, Thaman S is composing the music, while cinematography is being handled by Gnana Shekar. With the shoot currently in progress, the makers are expected to continue unveiling promotional material in the coming months leading up to the release. Siddu has previously done a love-triangle comedy, Krishna and his Leela, which is streaming on Netflix.
