The second single from Dhanush's upcoming social thriller Kuberaa, titled ‘Anaganaga Kadha,’ was released on Monday. The song reflects on enduring class and economic divisions across societies, continuing the film’s broader thematic engagement with social structures and inequalities.

Penned by Academy winner Chandrabose, the track from Kuberaa features vocals by Hyde Karty and Kareemullah. Composer Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music, marking a shift towards a more introspective soundscape compared to his previous commercial works. The lyrics examine how disparities in wealth and power remain constant over time, offering a contemplative layer to the film’s narrative.

Kuberaa, written and directed by Sekhar Kammula, marks his entry into the thriller genre. Known primarily for his romantic dramas, Kammula has chosen to take on a socially driven story this time, focusing on characters from contrasting worlds.

The recently released teaser, titled “Trance of Kuberaa,” offered glimpses of the film’s main characters. The film features Jim Sarbh as a powerful industrialist, Nagarjuna as an investigative officer, and Dhanush as a homeless man who is chosen to play a role in an elaborate scheme by Nagarjuna’s character. Rashmika Mandanna also plays a key role in the film.

Produced by Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, Kuberaa is being released in Telugu and Tamil, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is scheduled to release on June 20.
