Chiranjeevi is expected to begin filming his next project with director Bobby Kolli in September, according to reports. The film, which is yet to be officially announced, will reportedly commence production after the actor wraps up his ongoing project with director Anil Ravipudi, tentatively referred to as MEGA157. This collaboration marks Chiranjeevi’s second outing with Bobby Kolli after their previous Waltair Veerayya, which worked positively at the box office.
Cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Ghattamaneni is said to be on board as the film’s director of photography, with further details, including the cast and crew, expected to be revealed soon through an official announcement.
In addition to this project, Chiranjeevi also has a film lined up with Dasara director Srikanth Odela. However, Odela is currently working on The Paradise with Nani, and the Chiranjeevi-Odela collaboration is likely to begin only after Bobby’s film is completed.
Chiranjeevi’s packed schedule includes multiple high-profile projects. He is currently wrapping up Vishwambhara, a socio-fantasy film directed by Mallidi Vassishta and backed by UV Creations. Simultaneously, MEGA157 is moving at a brisk pace, with its Kerala schedule recently wrapped up. The film is reportedly eyeing a Sankranthi 2026 release and features an extended cameo from Venkatesh.
With #ChiruBobby set to begin in September, followed by the Srikanth Odela project, Chiranjeevi is slated to work on at least three major films this year.
