ZEE5 has released the trailer for its upcoming Telugu original webseries Mothevari Love Story, giving viewers a peek at the rural-set romantic comedy headlined by YouTube content creator Anil Geela and actor Varshini. The web series is set to premiere on August 8.

The trailer opens with a Telangana-accented voiceover by Priyadarshi, introducing the story’s central conflict. The plot follows Parshi (Anil Geela) and Anitha (Varshini), a young couple who decide to elope but are forced to rethink their plan when a family secret derails their efforts. What follows is a mix of humour and emotion as the duo attempts to unite their families before being together.

Set against the cultural backdrop of Telangana, the series is written and directed by Shiva Krishna Burra. With a mix of quirky storytelling and small-town dynamics, Mothevari Love Story is set to blend themes of love, tradition, and generational differences. The show also stars Muralidhar, Sadanna, and Sujatha in supporting roles.

The project is produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Srikanth Sriram under the Madhura Entertainment and My Village Show banners, with Ladder Guru serving as co-producer. The show also marks the OTT debut of Anil Geela, who gained popularity through his work on the rural YouTube channel My Village Show. In addition to playing the lead, Geela is credited as the editor and executive producer.

The series features cinematography by Sreekanth Arupula and music by Charan Arjun. With its rural charm and light-hearted storytelling, Mothevari Love Story aims to bring a fresh voice to the Telugu streaming space.
