The official teaser of China Piece was unveiled at a ceremony on Saturday. Sundeep Kishen was present at the event as the chief guest, unveiling the trailer.
After starting on an intense note, about a nation’s military secrets being at stake, the China Piece teaser takes a comic turn, introducing its protagonist (Nihal Kodhaty), an aspiring patriot whose heart might be in the right place, but his energy remains misplaced. Without being aware, the protagonist lands up as a terror suspect, with several law enforcement officials. By the looks of it, China Piece promises to be a wacky comic thriller, full of quirky oddball characters that shall add to the film’s madcap quality.
Surya Srinivas plays the protagonist’s friend, and actors like Harshitha Bandlamuri, Sreesha Nulu, Kamal Kamaraju, Srikanth Iyengar, Srinivas Vadlamani, Vinod Sagar, Deeksha Panth, Raj Tirandasu, Mahesh Achanta, and Vamsi Nekkanti will be seen in the supporting cast.
China Piece is bankrolled by Moon Light Dreams banner, while Akki Viswanadha Reddy is the writer-director. Karthik Rodriguez is the music director for the film. Rehman and Dinesh have penned the songs.
In the technical team, Suresh Ragutu and Marthand K Venkatesh helm cinematography and editing, respectively. Ganesh Paidipally, meanwhile is the art director.
Nihal Kodhaty played a major role earlier this year in Tuk Tuk.
