Saiyaara, the romantic drama from Yash Raj films that released on July 18, has taken the box office by storm. Even as it continues to register massive figures at the box office, Saiyaara has garnered praises from leading Bollywood celebrities.

On Tuesday, Pushpa 2 filmmaker Sukumar praised the Saiyaara team. His post read, “‘Help me.’ That one line hit hard and stayed with me. Mohit Suri, you didn't just make a film, You made love stories breathe again. Your music speaks, but your silences... they echo.”

The Pushpa 2 filmmaker also praised the film’s leads Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, adding that they "lit up every frame."

On a concluding note, Sukumar praised Yash Raj films for their consistent championing of love stories. “No one romances cinema like you. Congratulations to the whole team. This one truly felt special,” he added.

A few days ago, Mahesh Babu took to his X page to congratulate the Saiyaara makers for their film’s success. 

Meanwhile, Saiyaara has already crossed the 100-crore mark at domestic boxoffice. As of Monday EOD, the film’s domestic collections stand at approximately Rs 105 crore. On Tuesday, the film is likely to earn another 20 crores, becoming the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2025, only behind Raid 2 and Chhaava. 

Additionally, the success of the film has compelled Son of Sardar 2 team to push their release date from July 25 to August 1, where it will now clash against Dhadak 2, another franchise film.  

Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara marks the first collaboration of the director with the Yash Raj films banner. Mohit Suri has previously made successful films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain among others.
