The makers of the upcoming social drama Paradha, which stars Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran, and Sangeetha Krish, have announced that the film would be released on August 22 in Telugu and Malayalam. It's interesting that Chiranjeevi's birthday falls on the same day as the film's premiere. Praveen Kandregula, who helmed this year's Subham and CinemaBandi (2021), is the film’s director.

The second single, ‘Yatra Naryasthu,’ and the release date were revealed by Paradha's producers. The song has a spiritual feel and a trance-like tempo. Vanamali's lyrics discuss female power in the context of epics and the years of oppression against women. Anurag Kulkarni's vocals are strong in the song. The song's visuals indicate that the villagers take Anupama's character away in order to carry out a conservative ritual, but the specifics are revealed in the film.

Subbu (Anupama) is introduced in the teaser for Paradha, which was released in February, as a traditional villager who, for financial reasons, embarks on an adventurous journey with two other urban women. Upon returning, she feels empowered and chooses to defy social norms.

Praveen is also one of the writers for Paradha, sharing credits with Poojitha Sreekanti and Prahaas Boppudi. Meanwhile, Krishna Prathuyusha is credited as the script doctor.

Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva bankrolled Paradha under the Ananda Media banner. Gopi Sundar composed music for the film. Mridul Sujit Sen cranked the camera while Dharmendra Kakarla edited the film.
