Sekhar Kammula’s social thriller Kuberaa is going to start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 18. The film was released on June 20 and got immense positive reception from audiences and critics alike. Dhanush’s performance as Deva was highly acclaimed.

Kuberaa follows the story of Deva (played by Dhanush), a homeless man entangled in a high-stakes scam, and Deepak (Nagarjuna), a former CBI officer navigating complex moral terrain. The ensemble cast includes Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in prominent roles.

Kuberaa is produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, and is shot as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, with versions released in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film has cinematography by Niketh Bommi, music by Devi Sri Prasad, and production design by Thota Tharani.

The CE Review of Kuberaa notes, “Sekhar Kammula reinvents his trademark idealism in an ambitious, high-stakes narrative that never stops being engaging, despite its handful of limitations.”
