On Thursday, Kiran Abbavaram announced the official title of his next production that is particularly planned with an aim of supporting new talent. The film, promising to be a slice-of-life comedy, is titled Thimmarajupalli TV.
The makers also released a title poster, which encapsulates the vibrant atmosphere of its universe and many quirky characters, establishing a time period where antenna TVs were a big part of common man’s life and culture. The film is said to be inspired by true events.
Directed by V Muniraju, Thimmarajupalli TV features newcomers Sai Tej and Vedashree as the lead pair. Sai Tej has previously worked as a camera assistant in some of Kiran Abbavaram's films. Meanwhile, V Muniraju too has worked in online editing team for Kiran’s projects.
In an admirable move, the poster also carries the names of all the newcomer actors who are part of the supporting cast — Pradeep Kotte, Teja Vihan, Swathi Karimireddy, Amma Ramesh, Satyanarayana Vaddadi, Madhavi Prasad, TV Raman, Chittibabu, Latheesh Keelapattu, Rajashri Madaka, KL Madan, Anshuman, Raghuramavasi, Balaraju Pulusu, Saikrishna Sangapu, Karishma Nellore, and R Vashisth.
KA Productions is bankrolling the project in collaboration with Sumaira Studios. Tejeswar Reddy Velpucharla is the co-producer for the film. In the film's technical team, Sudheer Macharla is the art director and Akshay Ram Podishetti is the cinematographer. Costume Design is by Vishalya.
Thimmarajupalli TV is is currently in its pre-production phase, and the team plans to commence shooting by the end of this year.
Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming acting projects include Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, and Chennai Love Story, the romantic drama where he headlines the lead cast with Gouri Priya. He is also the lead star of K-Ramp, the first look poster of which was unveiled a few days ago.
