Satya Dev plays Siva in Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom

Kingdom, which was to be released on May 30, has been postponed and a new release date is yet to be announced

The makers of Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, unveiled a special poster of Satya Dev as Siva from the film on Friday, coinciding with his birthday. Although character details of Satya's role in the film is kept under wraps, reports suggest that he plays Vijay’s brother. The newly released poster shows Satya Dev with an intense look. 

Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is touted as a pan-Indian action thriller set in Sri Lanka under military control. The film’s teaser features voice-overs from Jr NTR (Telugu), Ranbir Kapoor (Hindi), and Suriya (Tamil), introducing an intense world of conflict, survival, and rebellion.

Vijay Deverakonda appears in a rugged avatar, portrayed as the long-awaited leader of the people. Bhagyashri Borse plays another lead. The film is backed by producers Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas and presented by Srikara Studios.

Kingdom’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan. Editing is handled by Navin Nooli, and production design by Avinash Kolla. The film has been postponed multiple times, and a new release date is yet to be announced.
