Zee Studios and Prerna Arora join forces for Sudheer Babu’s Jatadhara

The pan-Indian film is set to explore mysteries of Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple

Zee Studios has announced, Jatadhara, in collaboration with producer Prerna Arora. The supernatural thriller, starring Sudheer Babu, is set to delve into the mysteries surrounding the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, known for its hidden treasures and unexplained phenomena.

Umesh KR Bansal, CEO of Zee Studios, described the project as an exploration of India’s history and folklore. “Jatadhara is a thrilling supernatural exploration of India’s rich history and folklore, and we are excited to collaborate with Prerna Arora once again to bring this epic tale to life,” he said.

The film reportedly combines elements of history, myth, and science, weaving a narrative that investigates the temple’s legends and the scientific phenomena. Sudheer Babu, who plays the lead, has been undergoing intensive training for the film’s action sequences.

Produced by Prerna Arora alongside Umesh KR Bansal, Shivin Narang, Rajiv Agarwal, and others, the project marks the second collaboration for the production houses after Rustom (2016).

Filming for Jatadhara is set to begin in February in Hyderabad.
