Balakrishna: I will entertain my fans till my last breath

The Daaku Maharaaj actor was speaking at the success event held for their film at Anantapur

The makers of the Balakrishna starrer Daaku Maharaaj recently held a grand ‘Vijayotsava Panduga’ ceremony in Anantapur, to celebrate the success of their film. The Bobby Kolli directorial also stars Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Urvashi Rautela in the supporting cast. At the ceremony, Balakrishna gave a rousing speech, dedicating his latest success to his fans’ love and support.

Addressing the audience, the Daaku Maharaaj star said, “I have never been concerned with box-office collections; my fans are my greatest promoters. They know that all my records, collections, awards, and rewards are genuine. My father, mentor, and god, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, has blessed me with an extended family in the form of my fans. I feel I have a responsibility to entertain and inspire them with meaningful films till my last breath."

Talking about his working experience with Balakrishna, director Bobby Kolli stated, “Working with him is a dream come true. I promise that my next film with Balakrishna gaaru will surpass Daaku Maharaaj — it will be a film discussed not just in other states, but in other countries as well.”

Produced under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Daaku Maharaaj released on January 12. As of January 23, the Balakrishna starrer has grossed nearly Rs 114 crore at worldwide box office, according a report from the box-office tracker Sacnilk website.
