The makers of 8 Vasantalu released ‘Teaser 1’ of their film on Friday. The upcoming coming-of-age drama stars Ananthika Sanilkumar in the lead role. 

The teaser begins with a vulnerable conversation between a newly married couple. While consoling her partner, who is struggling to move on from a lost relationship, the young woman goes down memory lane, recalling her experiences of falling in love, experiencing heartbreak, and moving on.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, are producing the upcoming film. Earlier, the makers released a character intro teaser, establishing Ananthika as Shuddhi Ayodhya, a young woman who aspires to be a martial arts professional.

8 Vasantalu is directed by Phanindra Narsetti, who has previously directed independent films such as Backspace, Madhuram, and Manu. The primary cast comprises Ravi Theja Duggirala, Hanu Reddy, and Kanna Pasunoori. 

Hesham Abdul Wahab, who last composed music for Sharwanand starrer Manamey, is the music director for 8 Vasantalu. Gaami cinematographer Vishwanath Reddy is on board the project as well. Editing is by Shashank Mali.

The makers of 8 Vasantalu have not announced a release date for their film.
