The makers of Pothugadda announced that the film is set to premiere on ETV Win on January 30. The romantic thriller is set to skip theatrical release and arrive directly on OTT. The film’s trailer was also unveiled on Monday. It features a couple on the run who get caught up in a dangerous political conspiracy. The bus they journey in gets hijacked and they have to fight their way through to survive. 

Pothugadda features Shatru and Prasanth Karthi as the male leads. Additionally, many young actors like Vismaya Sri, Venky, Prudhvi Dandamudi and Aadvik Bandaru play supporting roles. Anupama Chandra and Sharath Chandra Reddy serve as the producers. Rahul Shrivastav is the cinematographer. Shravan Bharadwaj is the music director, while Marcum M composed the background score. 

Pothugadda is written and directed by Raksha Veeran. The film is produced by Anupama Chandra and Sarath Chandra under the banner of 24 Cinema Street LLP.
